The client came to us with multiple issues that had been affecting the performance of their website. Issues included a slow loading speed, frequent crashing of web pages, shopping cart error and site downtime. Experts, at ChilliApple, were tasked with addressing the issues preventing the smooth operation of the website and an analysis of the website for any underlying issues that may affect the future performance of the website. To complete the project, the Support and Maintenance Team was drafted in to determine the factors affecting the performance of the website. To get a deeper insight, a project analysis report was prepared, highlighting all areas of improvement and setting out a strategy to be followed. The client is also provided with continuous support and a monthly maintenance procedure.
The objective of the project was to optimise the website to provide an enhanced UI/UX, remove performance-obstructing elements and to overhaul the website. At the end of the first support and maintenance session, the website showed substantial improvement in the performance. The website, as an ongoing support and maintenance project, has been allocated with dedicated resources to ensure timely backups, removal of unwanted junk and unnecessary cache data for an enduring performance and maximum operating ability.
