Two Categories, One Proud Team: chilliapple Named a Kent Business Awards Finalist

We’ve been named a finalist in two categories at the Kent Business Awards 2026 in Tunbridge Wells: Small Business of the Year and Creative, Digital & Innovation. Being shortlisted once would have been good news. Being shortlisted twice, in the town where our UK office is based, feels particularly special.
chilliapple started in 2008 with a simple aim: build technology that works for the business using it, without unnecessary cost or complexity. That hasn’t changed, even as our work has grown.
That’s why the Small Business of the Year nomination means a lot to us. We’ve always put close working relationships with clients first, getting to know how their businesses actually run before deciding what to build. It’s a way of working that suits the size we are, and one we’re eager to protect.
The Creative, Digital & Innovation category reflects how our work has developed over the years. Today, we deliver mobile apps, bespoke software, cloud and AI projects for our clients. The technology keeps moving, but the question we start with stays the same: what does this business need to run better?
Our model has stayed consistent too. Strategy and client collaboration happen here in the UK, supported by a long-standing development team in India. It lets us stay close to each client while delivering efficiently.
None of this would be possible without the clients who trust us with their projects and the team who deliver them. This recognition belongs to all of them.
The awards ceremony takes place later this month. We’re looking forward to the evening and to celebrating alongside the other finalists from across Kent.
