The company not only manufacture, source and supply the highest quality products, but also invest into clinical research, development of new products and education.
The Phoenix Medical website was built in Magento but needed to be upgraded to the latest version of Magento 2 to maximise security and ensure the best online user experience and customer satisfaction.
A chilliapple account manager and a team of Magento specialists designed a migration plan ensuring there was no interruption to Phoenix Medical’s day to day business. We retained all existing functionality, fully migrated all product and category data and other site content as well as customer and order data. Any site upgrade needs to be considered carefully because of the risk of reduction in site speed and SEO performance. We ensured the migration of optimised content and quality checked for potential broken links and errors before the new site launch. We also delivered all the required changes and enhancements such as their product search functionality. As with all client launches, we track site performance for 60 days and fixed any bugs.
We successfully upgraded the site to ensure it was optimised for speed as well as for search engines. SEO equity was retained and third-party plugins such as Unleashed inventory management software were incorporated. Phoenix Medical were able to continue to trade without interruption during the upgrade and they have benefited from an improved user experience and journey to purchase which has been hugely important during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
