Postpack is a packaging solutions provider that offers a wide range of products and services to help businesses protect and transport their goods safely and efficiently. With a team dedicated to providing high-quality packaging options, they offer a variety of products, including boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and cushioning material.
Postpack approached us for ongoing monthly support for their Prestashop website, with a key focus on growing and enhancing the site with the latest features to remain competitive.
Our Solution
After an initial review of the Postpack website, we ascertained that it was running on Prestashop v1.7.5.2 which was released back in May 2019. Our first task was to upgrade the site to the most recent version of Prestashop (v.1.7.8.7 at the time) to ensure we were working on the most up-to-date and secure version. This included upgrading all installed and enabled modules to guarantee compatibility. The upgrade process included various feedback loops, including internal QA, Account Manager testing followed by client testing, to check that functionality of the website was as expected. The Prestashop upgrade went live in October 2022.
Postpack then onboarded with us on our Gold Support Package as of November 2022, providing a list of initial bug fixes to be discussed. Their Account Manager worked closely with the client to outline their business goals and prioritise the tasks with the development team. Through our Gold Support Package, we produce monthly reports detailing the work completed on the site, as well as monthly SEO health checks, to help improve the overall ranking of sites organically. This was an important focus point for Postpack so each month we share specific, targeted SEO recommendations to continue to enhance site performance.
We also provide Postpack with a quarterly competitor analysis, alongside general website suggestions, to keep their team up to date with the latest online trends and website improvements to stay ahead of the curve.
The Results
Postpack are now settled into their Gold Support contract, and gradual and significant site improvements are being developed. As we continue to grow with Postpack, we look forward to introducing them to our partners to further boost their eCommerce potential. Here’s what our client has to say:
